Laurie Tema-Lyn - a Biography
Laurie Tema Lyn, founder of PIE, has a passion for innovation and more than twenty years of experience in helping teams uncover breakthrough opportunities. A pioneer in applied creative problem solving and strategic innovation, Laurie has led case teams to create compelling product ideas and strategies in industries such as: foods, financial services, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and many others. She has mentored and trained dozens of professionals in the art and science of business creativity and strategic visioning.

Laurie’s background includes:

Co-founder and director of Consulting for IdeaScope, a global innovation management consulting firm with 25 consultants

Vice president, accounts supervisor with Rapp & Collins, a leading direct marketing advertising agency

Associate of Synectics

At IdeaScope she headed a landmark study on the practice of innovation in Fortune 1000 companies

Findings were published by IdeaScope and by the Babson Center for Entrepreneurial Studies

Author of several articles on innovation and qualitative research; has been a guest lecturer at many business schools, including Harvard, MIT, Babson, and Northeastern, and is a frequent presenter at industry conferences, including the QRCA and the Institute for International Research
